Lear's Daughters
Written by Elaine Feinstein
Cracks and fractures represent this dysfunctional family, although they are gilded with gold; an attempt to ignore the cracks and turn them into a kind of fake beauty. Mold grows at the bottom of the walls, their kingdom is slowly rotting away. They are living on the top of their crumbling psyches as they suffer the abuse of their father, Lear.
